*Was built in 1940 by the Spanish clergy in Baljoon
*The two level structure had a similar design as the school built by the Americans
*The building served as a dorm for children who are required to stay in the house overnight before they receive their first holy communion
*The structure was also used as the venue for religious teachings catechism and was also used as a primary school at one point
*It is now serves as meeting place for the parish’s various religious groups
*Today, Escuela Catolica is one of the heritage structures in Boljoon and one of of the tourist spot in Cebu City
