*The Laperal Mansion commonly known as Arlegui Guest House owned by Laperal family
*The mansion served as the consulate of Nazi Germany (Hitler’s Nazi Germany)
*This house was known as the Blair Mansion named after an American general who lived there before WWII
*During WWII, the house became the residence of the speaker of the National Assembly established by the japan-sponsored second philippine republic
*When the war ended, it served for a short while as the home of the National Library
*The laperal family of Baguio purchased the mansion and lived in Arlegui until 1975
*The Laperal Mansion also called the Arlegui Guest House is part of the malacañang palace complex and serves as a guest house for official guests of the president
*It was preferred by Corazon Aquino and Fidel Ramos as their residence during their terms as president
*Today, The mansion is now for sale to the tune of ₱1 billion pesos and sources say the sultan of brunei is among those interested to purchase the property
